Elmwood Cemetery: Tree Identification & History Tour

Learn to identify some of the 80 species of trees from horticulture agent and tree expert Bob Bricault, and hear about the history of the cemetery's famous occupants from historian and retired Elmwood manager, Chancey Miller.
Elmwood is one of Detroit's oldest cemeteries, and its waterways and rolling terrain remain unchanged since the city's early days.
Different areas of the cemetery are toured each year.
Meet at 6 p.m. in the parking area beside the cemetery offices.
