Presented by Janet Macunovich
- Easy, Earth-friendly Designs: Rain Gardens, Natural Plantings and More
Look at non-traditional ways to enjoy your landscape more while working less and leaving a lighter "footprint" on the environment. Plant a rain garden to save on your watering bill while contributing to cleaner water for your community. Attract birds and butterflies with native plants in naturalized beds. Participate in a round-table discussion of other great, green ideas.
Presented by Rick Lazell, Owner, Ecoscapes Environmental Design
- Plants in the News and New in Your Garden
This presentation looks at the "news" in a garden---which plants are new and how to know if they are worth adding to your garden, along with garden related stories and items in the news that you should be aware of. Lots of novel ideas offered up and tailored for participants' gardens, plus many fun perspectives on old standards.
